Trim leading/trailing silence Finds the first and last samples above the threshold. Silence threshold -60 dB Add short fade in/out Prevents clicks after trimming. Fade length 10 ms Normalize peak level Scales the cleaned sample to the target peak. Target peak -1 dB Detect clipping Warns when samples reach 0.999 amplitude or higher.
