Preset Mutator Becomes the Main Kreativ Sound Browser Tool

Kreativ Sound is focusing the browser tool area around Preset Mutator: one local-first app for creating Vital presets from scratch, from an existing preset, or from audio.

The default path is now From Scratch: choose a musical intent, shape the direction, and generate Vital preset starts without needing a source file.

Vital is the first supported format. Serum 2 and Arturia Pigments 7 are planned as the next synth targets, so Preset Mutator can grow without another product rename.

This keeps the promise narrow and practical: one tool, three clear creation paths, and no separate unfinished suite messaging.

What is live now

From Scratch, Mutate Preset, and Audio to Preset are available today as Vital beta workflows. The main app opens on From Scratch because it is the lowest-friction starting point.

What comes next

Serum 2 and Pigments 7 support remain planned alongside the next format expansion after the current Vital workflow is solid.
