KS BurnShaper: creative multiband distortion

KS BurnShaper joins Kreativ Sound’s Plugins catalog as a creative distortion effect for drums, bass, synths, loops, and sound design.

Split the signal into three bands, draw and blend two ten-point waveshaping curves, and choose Direct, Tube, Tape, Hard, Fold, or Digital character. Resonant filters, Scream, Instability, and the switchable Afterburn tail take the sound beyond saturation.

The plugin includes 144 factory presets, fixed 4x oversampling, wet/dry Mix, output protection, and .burnshape preset saving. Auto Match helps compare settings through gradual gain adjustment, not guaranteed perceived-loudness matching.

Requirements and activation

  • macOS 12 or later: universal Apple Silicon/Intel AU and VST3, signed and notarized. No standalone application.
  • Windows: x64 VST3 in a 64-bit host, with Microsoft Visual C++ v14 x64 Redistributable 14.44 or later. The plugin is unsigned; native Windows DAW and minimum-OS qualification remain unverified. Do not disable security protections if installation is blocked; contact Support.
  • Activate once online with your Gumroad licence key. Saved activation works offline without recurring checks or an activation-count limit. New computers/accounts or deleted activation receipts require reactivation.
